Fireworks Shows in Naples, Florida

Naples, Florida, is indeed famous for its spectacular fireworks displays, often set against the stunning backdrop of the Gulf of Mexico. The reflections on the water add an extra layer of magic to the bursts of color lighting up the night sky.

4th of July Fireworks at Fort Myers Beach

This annual fireworks display, held at Times Square, is one of the most popular events of the season. The show begins at 9 pm, and it’s free admission, so head down before then to grab a spot for your beach chairs and wait for the magic to begin. If you’d like to make a day of it, head down early to join in the festivities. Expect live music, great dining options, and a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Parking

Due to limited parking spaces, we recommend taking the beach trolley instead. If you do choose to drive, carpooling is a great idea to split the cost of the paid parking in the Times Square area. Free parking options are available but fill up quickly, so plan ahead.

Parking is also available at one of the town’s beach accesses. The Matanzas Pass Bridge closes from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., so please bear this in mind when making plans for the evening.

South Marco Beach

South Marco Beach’s annual fireworks display takes place on a barge anchored in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast between Tigertail and South Beach.

There aren’t many sights more spectacular than dozens of pyrotechnics reflecting off the calm ocean waters as they shoot up into the sky. The best view is from South Marco Beach itself. Tigertail Beach is also a prime viewing location. The fireworks usually begin around 9 pm, but keep an eye on the Marco Island events website for announcements and updates on the schedule.

Parking

Public parking is located at the intersection of Swallow Avenue and Collier Boulevard, Marco Island. Collier County Parks are accessible locations for attendees, offering convenient parking options for beach-goers attending the fireworks displays.

Naples Pier

Address: 25 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102
Phone: 239-213-7120

Naples Pier is an iconic attraction in Downtown Naples and is at the heart of many special events throughout the year. The pier was severely damaged by Hurricane Ian, and parts remain closed to the public while repairs are being made.

This has resulted in the event being canceled in the past due to safety concerns. However, if you plan to be in Naples on Independence Day, we recommend checking the Naples Government website to see whether the display will take place this year.

Parking

When the fireworks display does go ahead, the Naples Police Department would like to remind the public that strict parking enforcement will take place in marked “No Parking” areas with close attention given to the entire length of Gulf Shore Blvd, blocked intersections, and fire hydrants.

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruises

The Naples Princess luxury yacht and Pure Florida offer fireworks cruises that depart from Tin City and offer stunning views of the Naples coastline. The cruises are a great way to celebrate Independence Day in style and are a popular activity among locals and tourists alike.

Fort Myers Beach July 4th Parade

The Fort Myers Beach 4th of July Parade is a vibrant and festive event that brings the community together to celebrate Independence Day in style.

This family-friendly parade kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, featuring a colorful procession of floats, marching bands, and local organizations as they march down Estero Boulevard along the parade route.

Spectators can enjoy the lively atmosphere, complete with patriotic music and cheerful participants, as the parade sets the tone for the day’s celebrations. It’s a perfect way to start the holiday, offering fun and entertainment for people of all ages.

The City of Naples July 4th Parade

This lively parade route runs from Broad Avenue South to Third Street South, then heads north to 5th Avenue South. The festivities end on 8th Street South. The route begins at 10:00 a.m. and takes approximately two hours to reach Eighth Street South. For more information on this year’s parade, check the calendar on the Naples Government website.

Star Spangled Bonita

The City of Bonita Springs will be honoring Independence Day during its “Star-Spangled Bonita” celebration, which will take place over the Fourth of July weekend.

There will be a children’s amusement area featuring a giant water slide, a bounce house, amusement rides, a slip ‘n’ slide, water tag, train rides, face painting, a wrecking ball, a high striker, and more.

Watermelon and ice cream eating contests will take place throughout the evening. Food and drinks are available for purchase if you prefer not to bring your own outside food.

Live Entertainment and Food

The live music and food options in Naples are a great way to enhance the Independence Day celebration experience. The city offers a range of restaurants and bars that serve traditional July dishes, such as hot dogs, burgers, and BBQ. The live music scene in Naples is also thriving, with many venues hosting live bands and DJs during the Fourth of July weekend.
