Fifth Avenue South
Fifth Avenue South is the main artery of the neighborhood and one of the most celebrated streets in Southwest Florida. Palm-lined and beautifully maintained, it runs from Naples Bay all the way to the Gulf of Mexico and is lined with over 32 award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, sidewalk cafes, and cocktail bars. The mix of locally owned businesses and well-known brands gives it a character that’s polished without feeling generic. Evenings are particularly lively, with outdoor dining, street musicians, and a festive atmosphere that carries well into the night, and throughout the year the avenue hosts food festivals, live music, and seasonal celebrations.
Third Street South
A few blocks from Fifth Avenue, Third Street South offers a quieter, more intimate alternative. Shaded courtyards, alfresco dining, art galleries, and charming cafes give it a slightly more relaxed feel — ideal for a leisurely morning browse or a long lunch without the bustle of the main strip.
One of the great things about this neighborhood is how close everything is to the water. The historic Naples Pier, stretching out over the Gulf at the end of 12th Avenue South, is one of the most iconic spots in the city. Please note: the pier is currently not accessible due to ongoing reconstruction following hurricane damage. Naples Beach right next to it remains open and is a beautiful spot for a sunset walk, dolphin watching, or simply taking in the Gulf views. The walk from Fifth Avenue to the beach takes less than 10 minutes on foot.
