Barefoot Beach Preserve

WELCOME TO BAREFOOT BEACH PRESERVE

While there are many reasons to visit Naples, Florida, none compare to the local beaches. From the soft sand to the wildlife to a variety of water sports, there’s something here for everyone. Barefoot Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the area, thanks in large part to its magnificent views along one of southwest Florida’s most appealing destinations.

LOCATED NORTH OF DOWNTOWN NAPLES

EXPLORE BAREFOOT BEACH PRESERVE

There is no shortage of beaches in and around the Naples area, but Barefoot Beach Preserve has long been a favorite among locals and out of town visitors who visit Bonita Springs between January and March.
As a barrier island, Barefoot Beach Preserve is one of only a few undeveloped beaches along the Florida coastline. So, if you’re seeking an undisturbed beach where you can relax in peace, it’s the place for you.
There’s a lot to like about Barefoot Beach, including:

  • Location: 342 acres surrounded by two bays on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other
  • Perfect for many activities, such as fishing, swimming, water sports and nature watching (such as manatees, dolphins, and tortoises)

When you’re not in the water or lounging on the beach, you can take to the one mile track that leads you through some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. Your hike through the mangroves is sure to turn up many surprises, such as various species of birds.
At some point, your appetite will kick in and you’ll want to stop for a bite to eat. Fortunately, you can travel to nearby Delnor-Wiggins State Park, where you’ll find plenty of picnic tables for your use. It doesn’t matter if you bring your own food or purchase something tasty at a local concession stand, you’re sure to fill up.
With a location approximately 15 miles north of Naples, Barefoot Beach is easy to reach by car.
If you’re interested in visiting, let us help you find the perfect accommodations. At Naples Florida Vacation Homes, we have many years experience helping all types of travelers find the perfect property. We look forward to serving you!
