Bike Riding to Beaches Naples, FL

There is no denying the fact that Naples is home to many of the best beaches in the state of Florida. While there’s nothing more enjoyable than playing in the sand, swimming in the clear ocean water, and soaking up the sun, there are many other activities that are sure to pique your interest.

Bike Riding Around Naples

Bike riding in and around the Naples, FL area is an enjoyable experience, thanks in large part to the beautiful surroundings, pleasant weather, and plenty of opportunities.
For example, if you’re up for a longer ride, you can hop on your bike and travel down Gulf Shore Boulevard to Gordon Pass. When doing so, you’ll enjoy everything from the homes that line the streets to the smiles from other cyclists.
One thing you’ll never struggle to find is a place to ride your bike. Despite the fact Naples is only 14 square miles in size, it’s home to approximately 30 miles of bike paths. And that doesn’t even take into consideration the many roadways throughout the city that are biker friendly.
Tip: if you don’t have your own bike, there are plenty of rental companies in the area with availability. It doesn’t matter if you’re cycling alone or seeking a bike with a child trailer, you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Some people bike just for the fun of it, while others have a destination in mind.
Did you know that almost every east-west street in Naples leads to public beach access? This provides the opportunity to experience everything from soft white sand to shaded picnic areas to boardwalks and piers.
From Gulf Shore Boulevard and Gordon Road to the center of Old Naples, use your bike to explore one of the most pedestrian-friendly cities in the Sunshine State.
