Delnor-Wiggens Pass State Park: A State Park & Beach in North Naples

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State ParkA State Park & Beach in North Naples

Coming to the beach is a very important thing to do for most visitors and locals in Florida, especially in Naples.
However, not many people think of combining the beach with a state park. Delnor-Wiggens Pass State Park is just that, it is a state park and a beach.
This makes it far more than a beach, and far more than a state park, but a destination unto its own, with a plethora of outdoor activities that you can do throughout the day during your visit.
CENTRALLY LOCATED
Delnor-Wiggens Pass State Park is located off of Immokolee Road and Tamiami Trail North, just minutes south of Bonita Springs. This 166 acre park features a mile of unspoiled beach, this state park features several hiking trails, and several picnic spots.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
If you’re more interested in coming to Delnor-Wiggens Pass State Park to do some activities on your own, this is the place to come! This is a great place to collect shells with the kids, go fishing, have a picnic, hike, bike, kayak or paddleboard, sun bathe, swimming, snorkeling and wildlife viewing.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Furthermore, the park rangers and volunteers offer special activities each month, including yoga along the beach, paddle board lessons, and guided tours along the beach.
PARK ADMISSION
There is an admission fee that runs from $6 for vehicles with 2-8 people, to $4 for vehicles with single occupancy. Some scheduled events offered by the park have a fee in addition to the park entrance fee, while others do not.
Naples Beach Adventures is separate from the park, so you have to purchase rentals from their concessionaire, located at parking lot #4, to do so. If you wish to take a guided kayak tour, you must reserve it at least 24 hours in advance on their website, at http://www.naplesbeachadventures.com/.
