3 Reasons to Visit Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

The Golfing

It should come as no surprise that the number one reason to visit Glen Golf & Country Club is the excellent golfing. Their state-of-the-art 18-hole course was designed by Arthur Hills – Steve Forrest and Associates in 2008. It has been simultaneously challenging and wowing players ever since.
One of the most unique features of the course design is the use of Sea Isle Supreme Paspalum grass. Its striking dark-green color catches the eye, but the benefits of the green go far beyond appearances. This variety of grass needs less water, fertilizer, and pesticide, making it a healthier and more eco-friendly choice. To the players’ benefit, it also props golf balls higher than other types of grass, and the waxy leaves don’t hold dew or other types of moisture. This means cleaner puts and drier shoes and socks for those who venture out on the green.

The Variety

If golf isn’t your sport, there’s still plenty to enjoy at Forest Glen Golf & Country Club. Bring your racket to try your luck at tennis on one of the resort’s four championship courses. Courts can be reserved for round robin play on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. The club also offers a diverse list of fitness classes, including Pilates, Water Aerobics, Body Sculpting, and Yoga.
The club also offers a range of dining choices. Options include something for every palette, from American fare to international delicacies. The ambiance is also a huge factor and is woven throughout each dining experience.

The Scenery

Forest Glen Golf & Country Club is located within a nature preserve. The surroundings are not only pristine but peaceful. A day here is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Paradise Coast, while still having immediate access to amenities and activities. When you visit, you’ll enjoy beautiful surroundings, no matter what you decide to do when you’re there.
