How to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Naples, FL (2025)

Itching to escape the mid-western cold this holiday season? We get it. That’s why we’re proud to call Naples, Florida, and the Paradise Coast home. Spending Christmas in Naples and staying to ring the new year in?

Here at Naples Florida Vacation Homes, we offer a wide range of oceanview accommodations near golf courses, excellent access to the most beautiful beaches, and endless amenities to meet our guest’s needs.

And if you come for New Year’s? You’re in for a treat. We’re proud to share some of our city’s most exciting spots and upcoming events to have your champagne countdown, along with other fun activities to do during your trip.

2025 New Year’s Eve Events in Naples

One event we never missed on New Year’s Eve was the fireworks display at the Naples Pier.

We’d sit along the sand at Naples Beach and take in gorgeous sparkling sights that danced above the ocean. Unfortunately, the Naples Pier has since closed, but you can still enjoy the following New Year’s Eve events!

1. New Year’s Eve Grand Buffet Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton

Hors d’oeuvres, anyone? The Ritz’s Tiburon location’s Annual New Year’s Eve Dinner is a must-go if you have a penchant for glitz and glamor.

The swanky hotel hosts events that are accessible to everyone, even if you don’t stay in their expensive suites. Attendees will enjoy a buffet-style dinner, complete with champagne bars and live music.

But that’s not all. This event is one of the few where you can witness unparalleled views of a striking fireworks display. Since the Ritz sits at the base of the 18-hole Tiburon Golf Club, you have a wide, unobstructed view to enjoy the fireworks.

2. Larry Johnson’s Essence of Motown New Year’s Eve Party

This one’s a 30-minute drive from Naples, but it’s a worthy event to consider for New Year’s. Located in Estero, Florida, this Motown event is where Detroit meets Florida. Songwriter-artist Larry Johnson puts on a live performance of your favorite Motown classics from Smoky Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and more.

When you purchase tickets, you’ll note that the event also features a four-course dinner and even a midnight breakfast to soak up all that champagne!

3. A Rare New Year’s Eve Affair at The Ritz-Carlton Naples

If you thought the Ritz couldn’t get any ritzier, think again. If you want to level up the glitz to a new level, you have to check out the hotel’s black tie gala.

We’d call this the whole shebang when it comes to New Year’s Eve in Naples. So, what can you expect? How about a five-course dinner, premium spirits and wines, a champagne countdown, and even live music performed by an 11-piece band.

You can take a quick cab from our vacation rentals to the event to enjoy more champagne, but if you’re driving, you’ll find valet parking as well.

Packing List for Your New Year’s Eve Getaway

The good news? You don’t have to lug around a winter coat, scarves, or kids’ boots in your luggage.

Naples, Florida, has highs around 78 degrees Fahrenheit during late December. But before you rush out of the house with nothing but a swimsuit, check out this packing list to prepare you for your trip:

  • Lightweight clothing: Think thin layers, like windbreaker jackets for nighttime and thin t-shirts to reflect the sun.
  • Sunscreen: Don’t let UV rays get the best of you! Nobody likes a sunburn.
  • Sunglasses: Trust us; they make such a difference.
  • Skirts & shorts: Activewear shorts and skirts are great options to stay cool in the Floridian heat. Even skorts are a nice choice for women who don’t want to experience chafing!
  • Comfortable sandals: Your tootsies should feel free and comfortable enough to enjoy the beach but also go on long strolls along the boardwalk!

Apart from the above, we have you covered. Don’t worry about bringing any soaps, shampoos, linens, sheets, or bath towels. Each of our rentals are equipped with the comfortable necessities needed to make our properties feel like home.
