Naples Pier
Step onto the legendary Naples Pier, a symbol of Naples’ coastal charm and a must-visit destination for families and travelers seeking unforgettable Gulf experiences. First built in 1888, the pier stretches into the Gulf of Mexico and has been a beloved gathering spot for over a century. Visitors come to fish, spot dolphins and shorebirds, or simply enjoy one of Southwest Florida’s most stunning sunsets.
The pier offers convenient amenities including restrooms, showers, ADA beach access mats, and a concession stand with food, beverages, and beach essentials. Fishing enthusiasts can try their luck catching redfish, trout, and even occasional grouper, all without needing a fishing license for the pier. The surrounding beach provides space for relaxation, volleyball, or family fun in the sun.
While the pier was significantly damaged by Hurricane Ian in 2022, it is currently being fully rebuilt with modern engineering while preserving its historic charm. Visitors can still enjoy nearby beach access and follow the reconstruction progress via the live webcam: https://naplespanorama.org/#aboutus
Once completed, the pier will continue to offer its iconic sunsets, wildlife viewing, and memorable strolls over the Gulf
