Spotting Dolphins & Manatees

To be prepared: If you’re heading out on your own, early morning and late afternoon are the “golden hours” for sightings. Dolphins are most active when hunting for breakfast or dinner, and the calmer water makes them much easier to spot. If you aren’t a boater, don’t worry—the Naples Pier and the shoreline at Vanderbilt Beach offer fantastic viewpoints where you can often see dolphins patrolling for fish.
