Triad Seafood: Casual Waterside Dining in the Heart of Everglades City

While staying in your vacation rental in Naples, you are probably wondering to yourself-where can I get some great local seafood, or feast on these awesome stone crabs that everyone keeps talking about? Well, there are plenty of places where you can try local seafood and stone crabs, however very few of them can make the same claims as Triad Seafood, located in Everglades City. This blog post, the first of several of posts that will highlight various seafood restaurants in the Naples area, will help explain to you why Triad Seafood is worth the trip from Naples, to try their exquisite seafood and great stone crabs, which come off their boats.
That’s right-all the stone crabs they serve in their restaurant, comes from their own boats. In fact, when you dine at Triad Seafood’s restaurant, you have the opportunity to dine in a screened in porch, looking over the Barron River. You are literally a step away from where the boats that brought your stone crabs to Triad Seafood came! It can’t get any fresher than that, now can it?
While feasting on stone crabs in Triad Seafood’s screened-in porch dining room facing the Barron River, you can try other local items like a grouper sandwich, gator nuggets, and a soft-shell crab sandwich. For dessert, don’t forget to try one of the in-house made pies, including key lime pie and peanut butter pie.
If you can’t stay for dinner at Triad Seafood, you can always get your food to-go, which the staff at Triad Seafood are very used to, because that is how many of the locals get their food from there. You can also stop by the fish market located on-site, which features fresh stone crabs and shrimp from off their boats! Be sure to take some stone crab claws back to your vacation rental, along with the gear to crack them open! Triad Seafood offers small, medium, large and jumbo crab claws and local shrimp, alongside the mallets and stone crab crackers that you need to serve them at home. You can also take home some of their home-made pies home to serve on your table once you get back to your apartment rental!
So drive on down to Everglades City, and get your fill of stone crabs and great local seafood from Triad Seafood’s fishing boats! You’ll see why once you dine, or take some stone crabs and a nice key lime pie back to your vacation rental in Naples, why Triad Seafood is considered to be one of the best places in the Naples area to try local seafood and stone crabs!
