Vanderbilt Beach, a popular North Naples area, feels like a quiet exhale. The sand is pale and fine, warm underfoot, and the Gulf stretches out in calm, glassy blues that seem to slow time on contact. It’s a place where mornings arrive slowly, with walkers tracing the shoreline and dolphins occasionally surfacing just beyond the break.

The beach balances natural beauty with easy comfort. Sea oats sway along the dunes, shells collect like small treasures at the water’s edge, and the sunsets are reliably spectacular, painting the sky in soft peaches and molten gold. Nearby cafés and resorts are close enough to be convenient, yet the beach itself never feels hurried.

Whether you come for a weekend of swimming and sunbathing, or a longer trip to watch the horizon and simply sit and listen to the waves, Vanderbilt Beach offers a simple, restorative kind of pleasure. It’s Naples at its most relaxed and welcoming, where the day seems to unfold at exactly the right pace.

Transportation and Beach Parking

Getting to Vanderbilt Beach Park is a breeze, making it one of the most popular beach accesses in the area.

Simply head to the end of Vanderbilt Beach Road, and you’ll find yourself steps from the gorgeous white sand surroundings and sparkling Gulf waters. The beach is located just west of the Ritz Hotel entrance.

If you’re a Collier County resident, you can take advantage of free parking in Collier County Parks with a Resident Beach Parking Permit.

For other guests, there’s a daily parking fee, with easy payment options at the parking garage or metered spaces. Parking is available in a 375-space parking garage, which is in a prime location for quick beach access.

Despite its size, the parking garage can fill up quickly in tourist months, so arrive early in peak season, especially on weekends.

For those who prefer not to drive, the Naples Trolley Tour offers a fun and stress-free way to reach Vanderbilt Beach. The CAT (Collier Area Transit) bus runs regularly every day between Naples and Vanderbilt Beach, and can be flagged down at any stop along its route.

These options make it easy for visitors to enjoy a day at the beach without worrying about finding a space in the parking garage.
