What Comes with a Vacation Home?

If you are thinking about renting a vacation home rather than a hotel room, and you haven’t rented one before, chances are that you are wondering what a vacation home will come with. Below are the things that generally come with a rental home and what you will have to provide.
Kitchen – pots and pans, dishcloths, flatware, cooking utensils, glassware, and potholders. The usual appliances are provided such as a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Usually they don’t come with things like food processors or kitchen scales, so you should bring them if you need them.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms –
Bath linens like bath towels, face cloths and hand towels are provided. Bedrooms will have fully made beds with pillows, linens, bedspreads and blankets.
Cleaning – The property is cleaned before and after your stay. Most properties also include basic supplies for housekeeping like dustpans and brooms.
Outdoor Grills – Each property with a grill will have a filled tank of propane for your stay.
Damage Waiver – Non refundable up to $3,000 in accidental damage. Break a glass or accidentally knock over a lamp, don’t worry it is covered.
White Glove Service – Our staff is available 7 days a week for full maintenance and cleaning services.
Others – Depending on the property, it may include air conditioning, a hot tub, television, DVD player, grill, dock, internet access, XFINITY or CenturyLink, equipment and games and other things. But these things aren’t guaranteed, since every property is owned individually and it’s based on the owner.

What to Bring

Clothing

  • Personal appliances like hair dryers
  • Toiletries
  • Items for the kitchen like aluminum foil, groceries and plastic wrap.
  • Beach equipment such as chairs, snorkels, boogie boards.

Keep in mind:
Depending on where you are renting this list can change, so you want to make sure that you are checking with your realtor to find out what you are going to get with your vacation rental and make sure that you have a great time!
