What to Expect From a Visit to Naples During Covid-19

How to Get from the United Kingdom to Naples, FL

Folks are still enjoying paradise in Naples, but they’re doing it safely!

Here are some quick questions and answers to see what life is like now in Naples.

Q. Are there any restrictions at all?

A. No. Folks and businesses are still practicing basic pandemic safety though for the well-being of the community! Plus, we’re doing extra cleaning procedures at our vacation rentals.

Q. Do people still wear masks? If so, where?

A. Yes! As mentioned, people are taking basic safety measures, like wearing a mask. When going into restaurants, businesses, malls, grocery stores, gas stations, and the like, people are wearing their masks. It’s been almost a year of masking up and sanitizing, so people now have the routine down. There isn’t a government order, but people want to still take safety precautions.

Businesses too. Most businesses have signs outside their doors advising mask-wearing and have hand-sanitizer throughout the business.

Most business employees are wearing masks too. Whether it’s at a restaurant, bar, store, or gas station, businesses are still taking safety precautions.

Q. Are there places folks DON’T wear masks?

A. Yes. When folks can social distance, masks are usually off. When you’re at the beach, or on a golf course, or biking, or just generally enjoying the outdoors, it’s easy to keep your distance! Folks usually won’t wear a mask when they can be safe and keep space.

Q. Are businesses open?

A. Yes! Everything is open. There are no restrictions. Our restaurants, stores, beaches, parks, preserves, grocery stores, and malls are all open.

Q. OK, but are people still going out to dinner?

A. Folks are certainly still dining out! When walking into the restaurant, people have their masks on. When they are seated at the table, their masks come off to eat.

You can dine out, but there are also take-out and delivery options still too. If you want to enjoy a nice dinner in the comfort of your home, that’s no problem. Order from an extensive list of great restaurants and dine-in.

Q. Are people still being active and leaving their homes? Are there things to do?

A. Absolutely, yes! There is plenty to do when you have beautiful temperatures year-round. Folks are really taking advantage of the outdoors right now.

Here are some outdoor activities where you can social distance:

  • Walk the miles and miles of white, powdery beaches
  • Visit the Everglades National Park or other preserves
  • Golfing
  • Kayaking
  • Paddle-boarding
  • Tennis
  • Pickleball
  • Swimming
  • Shelling
  • Boating

  • Biking! Naples has miles and miles of bike paths.
  • Dine outdoors! Yes, it’s still warm here!
  • Shop outdoors on Naples’ Fifth Avenue.
  • Art events! We have plenty of art shows still going on.

The list goes on…
